About Us

Langley Moor Primary School Parent Teacher Association is a group run by friendly volunteer parents with the help of Mrs Stelling and her staff. The PTA plays a vital role within the school providing support, arranging events and more importantly, raising money for all sorts of equipment for the Children.

Over the past couple of years, our PTA Group has dwindled in numbers.Without new members we would be in danger of losing the group. This would be such a shame, as it would have a huge impact on our Children.

Getting Involved

If you would like to become involved but feel that you can’t commit much of your time.  Then don’t worry!  Whatever little time you may be able to give would be a huge help!  If you can’t attend all of our meetings, then that’s not a worry either.  That’s what volunteering is about – giving whatever you can give!

“YOUR PTA NEEDS YOU!”

Have Your Say

Have you any thoughts, ideas or concerns about anything to do with School. Would you like to meet more parents to share your experiences. Would you like to become more involved with School Life.

…if so, why not join us at one of our meetings. Watch this board for our next date!

Recent Fundraising and Events

School equipment is so much more expensive to buy than you can imagine!  Equipment has to come from Certified School Suppliers, for which the School has to pay a premium.  This is why our additional fundraising is so vital.

All money raised by the PTA is invested back into the school. We liaise with staff and children to decide how funds should be spent.

July 2018 - Contributions to the New KS2 Outside Play Equipment: Thanks to all the money you have helped us raise over the last year we have been able to donate £2200 towards the play equipment.

June 2018 - The Annual Summer Fayre was a superb fun filled afternoon and raised a whopping £1319.55!

May 2018 - The Summer Bingo Evening was superb especially with our Bingo caller extraordinaire Mrs Stout.

March 2018 - The Easter card decorating competition was held for pupils and produced some excellent creations.

March 2018 - The Easter Quiz was a roaring success with some very tricky questions. We were delighted to be able to give every child who entered an Easter Egg.

December 2017 - The PTA helped fund the children's Christmas Parties and they all had a great time!

November 2017 - The Annual Winter Fayre was a great success raising £863.71

October 2017 - Halloween Disco: The school hall was transformed into a Halloween spectacular on the 31st October. The children and staff danced to spooky songs and had a totally fabulous time. The fancy dress outfits were superb!

September 2017 - Contribution to the New Library:  Thanks to all the money you have helped us raise over the last year we have been able to donate £2000 towards books for the new library.

Without your support during PTA Events, our Children wouldn’t get these additional activities and pieces of equipment which make their lives at School just that little bit more memorable!!
